Payne's Meat Sales has been a family-owned business in Paragould since 1939. In 2011, Richard Payne transferred the business to Barry Bateman. Barry continues to honor the same values Payne's Meat Sales was founded on. Under the new ownership, Payne's has been a source of ever-growing popularity. Originally Payne's Meat Sales produced wholesale meat products for restaurants and grocery stores, now the Bateman's have sucessfully expanded the shop to also cater to individual retail sales.
